PURPOSE
To keep sports from missing out on these players and these players from missing out on sports. A poll from the National Alliance for Youth Sports shows that 70 percent of kids in the United States stop playing organized sports by the age of 13. The lack of having fun tends to be a common reason for dropping out of soccer. We believe Allies Sport provides the missing link for leading kids to have a love for the game. One way is by providing the avenue to gain the skills and understanding on how to play the game.
Another issue is kids are not being provided a way to truly just go out and play for fun. In America, there is always a coach telling them what to do or putting together a structured drill for them to do. These structured drills are great to help the kids develop skill. However, it is just as important to develop creativity. So the other way Allies Sports fuels the fun for kids is by providing an open and learning environment where making mistakes is encouraged. They truly just play for the fun of it. Allies Sports is the avenue that provides tools, knowledge and opportunities to these kids that create the love for the game that we have as well as the majority of the world.
MISSION
Provide the best option for youth athletes outside of team practices to develop a better understanding of when, why, and how to use certain skills and techniques. Using a challenging but enjoyable program, players are given opportunities to fall in love with the game at a young age. As a result all sports will benefit as more players improve during the most critical ages of development. The core of our mission is to keep players in the game longer!
VISION
For youth athletes, Allies Sports will be the program that players join to both understand the game on an individual level and execute deceptive skills or techniques. Players that become more comfortable with these skills and techniques will develop confidence and enhance their excitement for the game. The more excitement built for players at a young age, the more likely they will continue playing the sport throughout childhood and their teenage years. As a result, players will gain confidence in themselves and develop leadership qualities raising their overall ability as a player.
PHILOSOPHY
Youth athletes who are given more opportunities to work on their skills and gain knowledge of the game will become more confident as a player and enjoy what the sport can provide to them on an individual level.
